L.A. has some of the best places to eat in the country with a scene that is constantly evolving — what was hot last month, may not be popular right now. With some of the most talented chefs in the world serving up such a diverse selection of cuisines, trending restaurants in Los Angeles will never disappoint. Whether you’re searching for some delicious international fare or a delicious steak dinner matched by beautiful decor, you’ll find some wonderful food at each of these Los Angeles eateries.

Joy

5100 York Blvd
Los Angeles, CA 90042

The popular Chinese and Taiwanese dishes offered at Pine & Crane in Silver Lake can now be found at the chef’s second location, Joy in Highland Park. The new location is so popular right now, lines start forming before the restaurant even opens. If you’re lucky enough to get a seat, try the delicious pork belly buns or stack season noodles. You can even purchase Mexican wedding cookies as a nod to the building’s former tenants, Elsa’s Bakery. All proceeds from the cookie purchases are donated to a community organization.

Felix

1023 Abbot Kinney Blvd
Venice, CA 90291

Pasta mavan Evan Funke has returned to Los Angeles, now calling Felix his home. One of the city’s most celebrated new restaurants this year, Felix offers an expansive menu filled with delicious Italian cuisine. While the homemade focaccia and decadent salads are the perfect start to the meal at this Venice eatery, the hand rolled pasta is this restaurant’s draw. Try the rigatoni all’amatriciana, tonnarelli cacio e pepe, or pappardelle bolognese —you won’t be disappointed.

APL Restaurant

1680 Vine St
Los Angeles, CA 90028

Adam Perry Lane’s newest restaurant in Hollywood is the trending place Los Angeles residents go when they’re looking for a perfectly cooked steak. Diners come to APL Restaurant for the juicy broiled porterhouse and smoky short ribs, but they stay for the eatery’s atmosphere. With an Art Deco-inspired decor throughout the restaurant and French-style seating, the stylish design of this Los Angeles restaurant may be the reason it’s trending right now. The classy decor is enhanced by the open-concept dining room and bar, which is accented by sky-high ceilings to add to the dining room’s airiness.

E.P. & L.P.

603 La Cienega Blvd
West Hollywood, CA 90069

The rooftop of this trendy hot spot offers spectacular views of the city is a great place to start your evening with drinks and small bites, but the dining room at E.P. & L.P. is the place to be. With a Thai and southeast Asian-inspired menu, this restaurant combines the glitz and glamour of a trendy L.A. eatery with some truly delicious food from Louis Tikaram.

Elephante

1332 2nd Street
Santa Monica, CA 90401

One of the newest additions to the L.A. restaurant scene comes from seasoned restaurateur Nick Mathers. Elephante boasts tons of outdoor dining space, including an amazing rooftop lounge and bar offering fantastic views of the ocean. The menu features food and drinks inspired by the flavors of Italy.
