Melissa was born and raised in Los Angeles and graduated from California State University Northridge with a degree in Psychology. She has been active in many facets of the real estate industry since 2007. Her long history of involvement in commercial real estate began while gaining valuable experience working at a national title company as the Vice President for eight years and then obtaining her real estate license.
Melissa has a unique and holistic skillset. She approaches her real estate business from a client-centric perspective choosing to focus her efforts on building long-term relationships with her clients rather than utilizing the traditional transaction-oriented business model. Her level of success is due to her thorough and current knowledge of the market and dedication to helping clients achieve their investment objectives. Melissa has been an effective real estate problem solver over the course of her career and proven herself to be an effective fiduciary representative through site building selection and negotiating a fair lease/sale price for the party she represents. When it comes to leasing Melissa is extremely strategic in identifying emerging markets and producing the best use for a property by securing tenants leases. She has maintained close relationships with landlords, tenants, developers, brokers and attorneys parlaying them into various real estate types which include cannabis, hospitality and retail.
In addition to her extensive background in multiple areas of commercial real estate, Melissa is also involved in the cannabis/hemp industry. She is well-versed in the latest compliance requirements and has consulted both national and international groups by helping them understand the cannabis landscape and current compliance requirements.
